UTSAH’s Founder Miguel Das Queah trained Labour Welfare Officers (under PLA) from Tea Gardens of Assam on "Labour Welfare Officers and their role in protecting Childrens Rights"; organized by the State Institute for Panchayat and Rural Development(SIPRD), Government of Assam. 60 Labour Welfare officers from Assam partook in the training session.

Dr. Michael Feiner, Consul General, German Consulate, Kolkata visited the UTSAH child protection programme at the Hafiznagar No2 Community in Guwahati. Dr. Feiner, had himself worked extensively in the child protection space internationally, before he joined the services. On his visit to Assam during the “Advantage Assam-Investors Summit 2018”, Dr, Feiner, who was desirous of visiting a Child Rights Organization, reached out to UTSAH. Dr. Feiner interacted with the children on various protection related issues. He was welcomed into the community with the singing of the State Anthem

Republic Day celebrations were organized at the UTSAH Community based Child Protection Programme at Hafiznagar No2. The Tricolour was hoisted by community mobilizers jaya Das Chowdhury and Rahima Begum.
