UTSAH organized online classes for children in the Hafiznagar No. 2 community.
Due the pandemic, most children attending nearby government schools were unable to attend classes. When the classes were shifted to online mode, due to lack of smart phones and the families household income being lower than Rs 2000-3000 per month, children in the community were unable to access online education.
In order for children to access online education, UTSAH mobilized youth from the community who had smart phones and coordinated with Ms. Meghali Das, the local Shiksha Karmi under SSA, Assam. Using these smart phone alongwith specific lesson plans, children were introduced to online classes with one on one individual session.
